Our Za’atar tuna salad recipe is perfect for all occasions and is Mediterranean twist to a classic dish.
We know there’s dozens of ways to make great tuna salads. Obviously the best one uses our recently released Za’atar seasoning packets. Just think about the savory, tangy, and bright flavors our magical Mediterranean packets will add!
These packets are sealed individually for freshness and pre-portioned to 2 tbsp. Unlike our condiment they aren’t blended with oil.
Our recipe calls for avocado mayonnaise, however traditional mayonnaise also works well with za’atar. Serve our Zesty tuna on salad greens, fresh bread, toast, crackers, pasta, or even a melt!
There’s no question making tuna is one of the quickest and hassle free meals you can make.
- 2 Tbsp Zesty Z Za'atar seasoning. (Order your Premium Za'atar Shaker here!)
- 2 Tablespoons diced celery
- 1 Tuna can, in water
- 1 Tablespoon diced red onion
- Half of a Lemon
- ¼ Cup Avocado Mayonnaise
- Baby romaine lettuce (optional)
- Sourdough bread, or your favorite kind
In a bowl, combine the drained tuna with all ingredients, except Za'atar. Mix well with a fork. Place in the fridge for 3 minutes (we like our salad cold). Place lettuce, if using, on the bottom piece of bread. Finished it off it with a za'atar packet for Zest!
