And the best part about this recipe? Cooking the eggs is the hard part! This simple two-ingredient dish is about to become your new go-to morning must-have.

How to Make Tangy Sumac Everything Bagel Fried Eggs?

All you need to perfect crunchy, savory fried eggs is two eggs, a nonstick skillet, and your handy shaker of Sumac Everything Bagel Seasoning. If you don’t have a nonstick skillet, any other flat pan will do, but add a coating of nonstick cooking spray to avoid a mess.

Warm the skillet before gently cracking your eggs in. Cook them to your desired doneness. For a soft, runny yolk, about 3 minutes should do the trick. If you prefer a hard-cooked egg, leave it in the pan until the yolk is firm to the touch.

To complete the plate, toast a piece of your favorite bread and crisp up a few slices of bacon while you have the skillet out. There you have it: a well-balanced, flavor-packed breakfast in minutes.

What is Sumac? The cranberry of the Mediterranean.

Sumac is a dried spice made from the sumac berry plant, which grows throughout the Middle East and the Mediterranean. It’s a deep red color and has a bright, lemony flavor. Sumac is an acidic spice that brightens up nearly anything you add it to, from sweet to savory dishes.

We include sumac in our Everything Bagel Seasoning to add an extra pop of flavor to this already crunchy and savory spice blend.

2 eggs
2 teaspoons Zesty Z Everything Bagel Seasoning

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. If you don’t have a nonstick skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil or a spray of nonstick spray to the pan. When the skillet is warm, gently crack the eggs in. Cook for 3-7 minutes, until the whites are set and the yolks reach your desired doneness.

Immediately remove the eggs from the skillet to a serving plate and garnish with Everything Bagel Seasoning.

Enjoy with bacon and toast to round out the meal!
