How to Make Za’atar Caprese Salad
This four-ingredient salad couldn’t be easier to assemble. And in a pinch, you can even make your salad stacks ahead of time. They’ll hold up in an airtight container in the fridge for several hours.
We love the vertical height from stacking tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves. But if you’re a fan of a more horizontal salad, it’s just as easy to arrange the ingredients in overlapping layers on a serving platter. Aim for concentric circles for the full Caprese experience.
However you assemble your Caprese salad, the most important thing is to drizzle it generously with Zesty Z za’atar condiment.

You can also miniaturize the recipe down for a bite-sized, passable appetizer by using sliced cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls.
